STRAWBERRY BLONDE WITH STYLE

Frequent Questions.

I post aesthetics, outfit inspirations, clothing ideas, vintage designer items, & more! All fashion content! There might be some other things thrown in every once in awhile like interior decorating or antique shopping adventures.

I’ll be following accounts that have style content or people that I know personally. Any other accounts that I choose to follow is at my own discretion. Please do not heckle me for a follow. I wouldn’t do it to you.

You can enter your email in the black stay chic box or you can follow this link. Once you make a Wordpress account, you can add this website to your subscriptions and you’ll be notified by email whenever I make a new post so you don’t miss content! Having a Wordpress account will also allow you to comment, like, and share!

Yes! Subscribing is totally free and so is the rest of my content. Subscribing is through Wordpress just allows you to like, comment, and be notified of new content that I post when I post it in real time but it’s at no cost to you. The only time Wordpress would cost you anything would be if you started your own blog using their platform. Please consider liking and subscribing if you enjoy my content because it helps me out in other ways as far as views, ads, & etc.

Check your spam! This has happened before! If it’s not in your spam folder, some email providers will automatically sort your emails into different tabs or folders. If yours does the same, notifications from Sydneyschic should show up under Social. You should be getting one email from me a week because that’s my posting schedule as of now.

Yes, I take all my own pictures and they belong to me. The same goes for all of my content including my graphics. They are all made by me.

No, absolutely not. Please refrain from using my images. Not only were they taken by me, but the items I photograph are from my own collection or generously lent to me by supportive friends & family.

No, I don’t! I also have a lot of jewelry, fragrance, and accessory content. I plan to include anything that relates to style on my blog. It won’t just be clothing.

For reference, I am a size 6/8 or medium but it’s garment dependent. I’ve sized up & down. I have curves so my sizing varies from brand to brand. I do have many oversized blouses & blazers so keep that in mind if you’re inspired by a particular look.

I’m a woman & so that is my point of reference for my content however my goal is to have something for everyone including men.

Yes, I am! However, I’ll be writing this blog more informally and focusing on casual conversation. The same advice I’ll be giving here is the same advice I’ve given to friends and that’s how I want to write. I don’t want cold, detached tutorials. I write as I would speak about these subjects if we were talking in person over a cup of tea.

If I am, you’ll know! Generally speaking, I’d only get paid for a post through something like a sponsorship. If I ever partnered with someone or received compensation, I would share that on the post.

No, all my opinions are my own based on experience. If I mention a brand, it’s most likely because I’ve shopped them & am giving feedback. I wouldn’t share anything here that I wouldn’t write in a store review. Keep in mind that my experience might vary from yours & it’s all just my opinion. Sponsored posts will be marked.

I try to answer as many as I can! This is dependent on my time and other factors in my life but I do try my best to respond to comments. Please do not spam my inbox with random messages/requests or I will block. This has happened on my other account & it’s upsetting.

My closet is full of both new and vintage. I have a lot of vintage pieces and almost all of my designer clothing is vintage but I do have new clothes as well. It’s pretty even, I’d say. I don’t have a preference, I just acquire what I like no matter if it’s new or not.

Honestly, I shop Ebay and Etsy the most. This is especially true as it relates to designer fashion or vintage however I also like Forever21, Belk, TJ Maxx, and other department stores for new fashion. To be fair, there aren’t many stores where I live. I shop Fashion Nova as well but mostly for affordable evening wear. I buy off Amazon as well which is great for when I’m attending an event and need something in a pinch! Basically, I shop anywhere clothes are found.

Years. Literally years. The items that I have did not all come to me overnight and I have been collecting for at least ten years. Part of the reason that I did so was in case I ever decided to have a project like this. I started getting things quite early but it has served me well and I’m able to share it now. I’m also eternally thankful for the people who lend me things from their own collections.

Yes, I do! I will definitely be posting content based on the season however I will also have eclectic content as well. For example, it might be autumn and you might see a spring print or spring outfit or vice versa depending on which graphics I already have done and etc. What I post is based on other factors outside of the current season but yes, I will have seasonal content as well.

Yes, I will sometimes change or update pictures that accompany my posts. An example of this would be me updating the pictures on a blog post about handbags because I got a new one that I feel should be included. My collection of items is ever changing and evolving so if I get the opportunity to update my images with content I feel is more helpful, I will!

When I take pictures, I am not only taking pictures for my blog but for my socials. I also need to have enough images to make graphics out of them. This means that I take a lot of pictures. So yes, I may repost content but I’m not really “reposting” it, I’m just posting something new with a piece of clothing you might’ve already seen on the feed earlier. For example, I may make a look book graphic and you might see a blazer featured in a separate fabric post to show that specific garment in further detail. The small details matter to me. Many of the clothes that I have are ornate and it takes several pictures of the same shirt to show all the close up’s of the fabric designs. Calm down.
